We live in Brora. Also see Brora local community, health and medical organizations and Brora in the Wikipedia Encyclopedia. With beaches, 18-hole seaside golf course and other attractions within easy driving distance, it offers tranquility, peace and quiet. It welcomes new industries, for example in big supermarkets development (presently none in Sutherland); for ground source heat pumps; photovoltaic (PV) solar electricity; small scale biomass; small scale hydroelectricity; small scale wind energy; solar panels; solar water heating. Crime is low, it is considered a safe neighborhood. |

He died three years later in 1987. His wife died in Brora in August 1974 and is buried in Brora. In 1983 the business was sold to Michael and Lorna Small. Sold again in September 2005 by Michael and Lorna Small after 22 years of ownership to Highland Bakery chain Harry Gow. |
